Based in East London, Tjaro creates chunky, bass-heavy music for dancefloors laced with infectious hooks and riffs. He has honed his skills through working with some of the great names in contemporary club music from Tom Findlay (Groove Armada) to Andy Williams (Yam Who / Midnight Riot) and releases on his own label, Instruct.

His track 'Verve' was played at the CDR event with Nabihah Iqbal at Corsica Studios, London.

"‘Verve’ mainly came about and was made for my first dj gig back in March, as I really wanted to have a couple of club-ready tunes to play for that night. I am always a little nervous playing my own tunes in public as I’m always fearful that I may loose faith in the track, but luckily It went down pretty well and kind of spurred me on to finish it.

‍

When mixing down tunes, I have always been really drawn to a lot of the old Theo Parrish tunes, largely because of the warmth and character he creates in the low-end of his mixes. His tune ‘Lake Shore Drive’ for example is one of my favourite club tunes ever made, and have always found myself listening to his music when searching for inspiration and new ideas, and ‘Verve’ would’ve definitely been inspired in a similar way.
