Safe Space Policy
At our music event, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. To ensure that all attendees feel safe and respected, we have established the following Safe Space Policy:
- Respect and Inclusivity: All attendees, performers, and staff are expected to treat each other with respect and kindness. Discrimination or harassment based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other characteristic will not be tolerated.
- Consent and Boundaries: Always seek consent before engaging in physical contact or taking photographs of others. Respect personal boundaries and be mindful of others' comfort levels.
- Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Any form of harassment, including but not limited to verbal abuse, unwanted advances, and intimidation, is strictly prohibited. If you experience or witness harassment, please report it to event staff immediately.
- Accessibility: We strive to make our event accessible to all. If you have any specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
- Safe Environment: Help us maintain a safe environment by following all venue rules and guidelines. If you see any unsafe conditions or behaviors, notify event staff promptly.
- Support and Resources: We will have designated safe space volunteers available throughout the event. They are there to provide support, answer questions, and address any concerns you may have.
- Accountability: We reserve the right to remove anyone who violates this Safe Space Policy from the event without a refund. Our priority is the safety and well-being of all participants.
By attending our events, you agree to abide by this Safe Space Policy and contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere. Thank you for helping us create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Keep up to date on all things CDR
Since we started back in 2001, CDR has been all about community, creating spaces for people to connect and develop through music.
Back in the Plastic People days, you could fit all of us in one small room around one soundsystem. Today, our projects and programmes extend from the dancefloor to schools, youth centres, as well as grassroots clubs and venues across the country and further afield. But in challenging times, with grassroots organisations like ours closing all around us, every bit of support counts.
Your help will enable us to continue delivering music programmes and events in the UK to the people who need it most. Our mission is simple: to build an equitable music ecosystem for producers and artists.
