Nyamekye Junction Release New Single: “Too Many Bags”

Our very own CDR team member Joe shares new music from Nyamekye Junction on his label Kitto Records.

Accra based trio Nyamekye Junction take their genre bending low frequency rumbles to new heights, “Too Many Bags” is the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut EP “Dasein”.

Punchy drums meet fielding recordings to create an exciting backdrop to Ghanaian vocalist Eli A Free’s signature mix of spoken word and soaring vocals. In his own words, vocalist Eli shares the backstory to the release, "Too Many Bags is about acknowledgement, the gift of it, the many moments and experiences that plague our lives, and the fleeting and dreamlike nature of it all."

The release is mixed by CDR founder Tony Nwachukwu.
