Kitto Records Announce New Nyamekye Junction EP

Kitto Records, a new label in the CDR family out of Belfast and London, returns to introduce a new three-piece band: Nyamekye Junction.

Kitto Records, a new label in the CDR family out of Belfast and London, returns to introduce a new three-piece band: Nyamekye Junction. Born of chance meetings in Accra, the band brings together a Burundian producer and vocalist, a Ghanaian singer-songwriter, and a German percussionist and multi instrumentalist. Nyamekye Junction take their name from a bustling junction in the Ghanaian capital, where a number of major roads merge, embodying the musical approach of the band: a singular sound at the junction of their cultural heritages. Their new EP Dasein is due for release on June 24, and was mixed by our very own Tony Wachukwu.
