In Conversation With Yant
Join us for an in depth conversation with Manchester-based Yant, exploring the creative process behind his meticulously designed productions.
Signing records to Setaoc Mass’ SK_Eleven X, Token Records, and originally BLACKAXON, Yant has a solid backing of Techno’s most important figures. Keeping things fresh and moving forward his productions deliver alluring grooves, hypnosis-inducing sounds and rich powerful beats. Each track has distinct personalities and psychoacoustic details to build worlds of their own, always ready to take you to the next place.
As always, you can submit your WIPs and tunes – at any stage – for the opportunity to hear your music on SOUP's sound system.
For those new to CDR Sessions - they feature an in-depth, production focused interview with a guest artist, exploring their career and creative process. The talk is flanked with ‘openCDR’, a DJ set of audience music submissions where producers and artists of all levels and abilities have the opportunity to play their own music on some of the best club soundsystems across the UK. All genres and styles welcomed!
Join our supportive community of producers, artists and music enthusiasts, and learn some transformative techniques along the way.
Lastly, we are a small, grassroots organisation and we are able to carry out our work through the generosity of our funders and community. Keep up to date on all things CDR
Since we started back in 2001, CDR has been all about community, creating spaces for people to connect and develop through music.
Back in the Plastic People days, you could fit all of us in one small room around one soundsystem. Today, our projects and programmes extend from the dancefloor to schools, youth centres, as well as grassroots clubs and venues across the country and further afield. But in challenging times, with grassroots organisations like ours closing all around us, every bit of support counts.
Your help will enable us to continue delivering music programmes and events in the UK to the people who need it most. Our mission is simple: to build an equitable music ecosystem for producers and artists.
