In Conversation With Fiyahdred
With essential club releases on labels like Hyperdub, Rhythm Section and Club Djembe, as well as their own Wildfyah imprint. Fiyahdred joins us to lift the lid on their signature deep, dark and percussive house productions.
As the music landscape evolves, so has Fiyahdred's artistry. In 2024, they embarked on a new chapter by launching their own imprint, Wildfiyah. This move represents a significant shift in creative direction, allowing Fiyahdred to explore and showcase a broader range of musical expressions.
One of the highlights of Wildfiyah is its emphasis on Fiyahdred's multifaceted skills. Beyond producing cutting-edge tracks, Fiyahdred also demonstrates prowess in other creative realms. Their extended mix series via Blast Radio, for instance, provides listeners with immersive experiences that delve deeper into Fiyahdred's sonic universe.
Fiyahdred's career continues to flourish, propelled by a passion for pushing boundaries and a commitment to delivering innovative and soul-stirring music to their audience.
Join us for an immersive conversation with Fiyahdred and submit your own music – at any stage – for openCDR and the opportunity to hear it on Corsica Studio’s soundsystem.

Keep up to date on all things CDR
Since we started back in 2001, CDR has been all about community, creating spaces for people to connect and develop through music.
Back in the Plastic People days, you could fit all of us in one small room around one soundsystem. Today, our projects and programmes extend from the dancefloor to schools, youth centres, as well as grassroots clubs and venues across the country and further afield. But in challenging times, with grassroots organisations like ours closing all around us, every bit of support counts.
Your help will enable us to continue delivering music programmes and events in the UK to the people who need it most. Our mission is simple: to build an equitable music ecosystem for producers and artists.
