Artist Talk | Yushh
In late 2023 CDR teamed up with Saffron as part of a shared commitment to expand access to music making. This series saw immersive Artist Talks with Bristol based producers. The first Artist Talk in our collaboration with Saffron sees Pressure Dome founder and producer break down some of her music productions and creative process.
Founder of label Pressure Dome, Bristol based DJ and producer Yushh’s broken beat take on UK Techno has seen her land releases on K-LONE & Facta’s Wisdom Teeth, All Centre, Woozy and Well Street Records.
Carrying the Bristol sound, a mixture of leftfield and dub aesthetics, for the past few years Yushh’s productions merge her love of sound design with her need to express her emotions sonically.

Keep up to date on all things CDR
Since we started back in 2001, CDR has been all about community, creating spaces for people to connect and develop through music.
Back in the Plastic People days, you could fit all of us in one small room around one soundsystem. Today, our projects and programmes extend from the dancefloor to schools, youth centres, as well as grassroots clubs and venues across the country and further afield. But in challenging times, with grassroots organisations like ours closing all around us, every bit of support counts.
Your help will enable us to continue delivering music programmes and events in the UK to the people who need it most. Our mission is simple: to build an equitable music ecosystem for producers and artists.
