We caught up with DJ Polo at Dareshack in Bristol for a deep dive into his productions and career to date.
In case you missed it, UK Funky mainstay DJ Polo joined us for an artist talk back in February at Dareshack in Bristol where he shared his tips, tricks and favourite VSTs - virtual instrument software - so you too can make those summertime jams.
Starting his career in his hometown Bristol with the legendary Sprung UK Funky day parties, he then pivoted to focusing on producing. In recent years, his releases on Club Djembe, Roska Kicks & Snares, Livity Sound as well as his own self releases, showcase his wide ranging production style that draws from Amapiano, UK Funky and rhythmic heavy club music.
