Applications now open: Out The Box

Applications are now open for our ‘Out The Box’ programme, which demystifies analogue mixing in professional studios.

Aspiring producers and artists will receive experience on an analogue desk with a top mixing engineer across some of London’s best music studios – Strongroom Studios, Ten87 and UD (United Development), with support from Arts Council England.

It’s an exciting opportunity for aspiring music makers to hear their music on an analogue studio system and run through the process of a studio mix step by step, while meeting other like minded producers and artists.

The experience will provide producers with 30 seconds of their track mixed, with the ambition to provide exposure to the process of having their music professionally mixed in a studio setting, working alongside a mixing engineer.

To expand access, the project is funded on a pay-what-you-can basis for participants, with priority given to demographics currently under-represented. We welcome all producers to apply, but they must be London based, in the surrounding areas or willing to travel to the London based studios.

The programme kicks off in September and continues with evening sessions hosted across the three studios throughout September, October and November. Click here to apply.
